Despite the challenges of 2021, it was our generous partners and donors and dedicated team that continued to bring empowerment, freedom, and hope in Ethiopia, when it was needed more than ever. We are so thankful for people like you, who have helped so many!

50+ businesses launched for the young women in our Girl Empowerment Program.
Welcomed 35 new young women to our Girl Empowerment Program.
Financially provided for 100 young women in our Girl Empowerment program to ensure they remain free from sexual exploitation.
Offered educational support for 50 young women in our Girl Empowerment Program.
Started our new numeracy and literacy program within our Girl Empowerment Program and welcomed 12 young women to enroll.
Re-linked 8 alumni to dignified jobs (after they lost their jobs due to Covid-19 because of business lock downs/shut downs).
Started growing our prevention efforts offering gender and reproductive education to 12 school representatives, 2 primary schools, and 4 community representatives.
Celebrated 1 year of our Community-Based Mirco Loan Savings Program offering capital and the opportunity for the young women in our Girl Empowerment Program to start small businesses and have a free and dignified life.
We continued to lead the “GO NGO Forum", a weekly group of 241 NGOs and government organizations working with women and children with the goal of creating more effective ways to reach young women and establishing quality empowerment strategies for the future.
Planted 477 seedlings of 5 different trees to leave a green legacy for the generations to come by contributing to the worldwide effort to reduce pollution, address climate issues, and restore the natural habitats that contribute positively to the local environment and global climate.
